Noosa

At first glance Noosa looks like the kind of tourist trap that we would typically avoid but we found appearances to be deceptive, there's a lot more to this stretch of coast than meets the eye.

Nestled along this beautiful coastline, Noosa National Park is home to a small group of Koalas, apparently. We didn’t see a single glimpse of these notoriously shy creatures. This cheeky Goanna, masquerading as a snake, caused a brief “El Panico” situation but his intentions were honourable.

In Noosa physical work comes by the barrow load. No need for a gym when you’ve got the garden workout. No such thing as a free lunch and we earned our keep with David & Lynda.

Our first day off was a big one, The Hollie Josephine Zecca's birthday. Let the shenanigans commence. Mt Timbewah, Noosa Botanical Gardens, Mt Cooroy, Boreen Point and then back to the gorgeous Sunshine Beach.

Castaway & Peregian Beach, getting away from the tourist strip and main beach led us to some incredible, quiet, sandy spots with crashing waves and grassy dunes to get lost in.
